Long Island Life is an independent insurance agency website. Everything published here is general educational information about life insurance and related products. It is not an offer of coverage, not a contract, and not personalized financial, tax, or legal advice.
No coverage is created here
Nothing you do on this website puts insurance coverage in force. Coverage exists only when an insurance company issues a policy, you have met all its conditions, and the required premium has been paid. Requesting a quote, submitting the form, or speaking with an agent does not create coverage.
Accuracy
We work to keep the information here current and correct, but insurance products, rates, underwriting guidelines, tax treatment, and state regulations all change. Content may become out of date between reviews. Your actual policy contract governs in every case, and where this site and a policy disagree, the policy is what counts.
The coverage calculator
The calculator on this site produces a rough estimate from the inputs you provide. It runs entirely in your browser, nothing is transmitted or stored, and its output is not a recommendation or a quote. Your actual need depends on circumstances a calculator cannot see.
